| I just received my 8 MOA J-Point in the mail today. I noticed there doesn't seem to be a battery cover for it, nor threads on the battery compartment. Is this how they are? They are supposedly water proof, so how does this prevent water from getting into the battery compartment? |

The J point has teh battery compartment in the bottom and I believe you should have received a gasket with it. So by tightening down the screws from the base to the sight with that rubber gasket in between, that is how it seals, Just like the Burris FF. Trevor B. |

I didn't receive any gasket, but I can probably find a rubber o-ring at the hardware store. Any idea on the size needed. I guess I could just pull it off and check, as I'll need to do this anyway in order to install it. |
