Any one have any suggestions for the installation of this trigger? I have installed / uninstalled it five or six times trying to get the adjustments where I want the trigger.
Really thinking about scrapping this plan and going with a timney or CMC or Wilson drop in unit - any thoughts on these? This is on a bull barrel dedicated target rifle that will also see time (i hope) on the prairie dog fields in South Dakota. No competition - no duty - no home defense -- target and varmint shoots only. I have 2 Remington 700's with Shileen BR triggers under a pound, and I shot ROTC / Rifle matches in college with high end Anschultz target rifles -- I am spoiled to good triggers |

Is this a new model trigger? I bought a used non-adjustable and had a gripe about zero improvement over factory stock triggers. Called the company and talked to the designer who was helpful. He mentioned they were about done redesigning their adjustable and it was going to be a night/day difference from previous models. Don't know how the new adj. trigger fared but with the maker's help turned the non-adj into a semi-adj trigger. With all the other trigger choices on the market I likely continue going with other brands.
Without getting into a long story I've decided the cheap way into a decent trigger is Rock River two stage. I also really like my Chip McCormick single stage plus its really easy to install. |

Between the instructions from jard and this Link it was not too bad. Follow the directions in the order they suggest and use locktite.
When installed and functioning as designed it is a nice trigger. I put one in a LR308 and didn't order a heavier trigger spring (comes with 1.5 pound). I was a little apprehensive about shooting a semi .308 with that light of a trigger but it worked fine. A little hard to get used to a light single stage after shooting two stage. Probably not a trigger for a SD gun but is nice for target shooting. |

Quit screwing around with all of these junk triggers and get a Giessele. Do they make a 2LB target trigger? Which model? If you're giving up on the jard trigger, you should send it to me for proper disposal. |
