| does anyone have info on this light? im wondering if it will hold up to abuse and also if it has a one inch tube. my flashlight adapter for my AR requires 2 inches in length. Does this flashlight have that kind of room? |
|
Its probably not going to hold up for you. The spring in the battery tube is fairly small and after some light use you may end up with a connection issue.
Also, as the previous poster pointed out, the tube is 1" nominal; but, only for about 1 3/4 inches. The tac ring is removable; but all other cuts in the tube are not going to make it friendly for your mount. |
| JetBeam seems to have some lights that have passed all the .mil standards and they are about a third the price of a surefire. I dont have a lot of lights but am using an older glaidus right now and it has been great, but im looking for more lumens and options on a light now. That is the reason i was looking at jetbeam. All recomendations are welcome. |
| JETBeam has some other lights that are popular as weapon mounted options. We have a lot of customers that use the Jet III M, RRT-2, RRT-21, M1X, and M2S as weapon mounted lights. They have pressure switches that will fit all those models as well as a few others. |

I just got the BC25 today but unfortunately it came defective. The light will not stay on for over a second. I'm in the process of getting it replaced.
Aside from that, my first impression was its certainly a high quality rugged build with exceptional (white) light output just as advertised. It definitely ranks up there with my fenix TK-35 and I cant wait to get my replacement to do a comparison. Did you check out their website yet? They seem to be releasing many new models these days so make sure you check it before you buy http://www.jet-beam.com/links/default.aspx Also, If you're looking to get the pressure switch and gun mount, I was able to find them both at shopwiseguys.com |
