So I was wondering here. I know 6.8 mags and 5.56 mags don't interchange. But some people have said that the 5.56 mags feed like 3 rounds and then jam.  Well I'm looking to get a 5 round mag for my 6.8 for hunting purposes, so how do ya'll think it would work out that I buy a 5.56 mag and change the spring and follower with a 6.8 spring and follower? Anybody done this and if not then would somebody be willing to try it?

For the past two deer seasons, I have used unmodified nine and ten round 5.56 and 7.62x39 mags in my DPMS 6.8 with no problems.  They'll hold four or five rounds of 6.8.
