For someone looking closely for such things, the color difference (upper/lower) is noticeable.
But, to me (an admitted fuss budget about weapons )...I would not have noticed it unless you mentioned it as you did.
Maybe I was stunned into a stupor by that furniture. It's a beautiful piece, as is, and I would just enjoy it that way, if it were mine...which it isn't. |
| I guess I was more wondering if the previously owner knew for a fact that the cam pin was not original or assumed it was not original because it was not chrome.I still get asked from members to please find them an original colt chrome cam pin.For the record,colt did NOT make a chrome cam pin. |
