Congratulations.  It feels good after thinking about it for so long, to finally drop the cash and own one of your very own.  Now you get to toil over all the super cool accessories to deck it out with.  I own 2 now.  One .223 24" DPMS and the new DPMS SASS .308 and I love them both.  Now I am working on a 20" build.  Good luck and I hope your wallet is deep now that you will get the disease.

Congrats on your new rifle,

I own the same make and model you have just ordered. The rifle is about a month old and already has well over 1K rounds through it with ZERO malfunctions. Prior to leaving the fun shop, I inserted the rubber buffer between the upper and lower, replaced the gas rings and installed a new grip. I love the gun and I'm sure you will enjoys your new purchase.

Im super excited from all the positive reviews regarding the rifle i ordered as well as the ones that i have read over the year or so ive been surfing here (along with the 2 months ive been a member).  Any advice for a soon-to-be new owner of the patrolman's A3?  i.e.  hoppes#9 it or dunk it in the rifle cleaning solution (can't remember the name).  ill field strip it first thing and figure the gun out first thing, but beyond that im curious as the standard operating procedure that you guys would go through with a new gun.  Yall's eperience and advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the comments so far!
