This is a recently finished build. The upper started as a Sabre M4 Flattop in 6.5 Grendel. I broke it in and fired it for group with 2 factory loads and then rebuilt it with the MRE MODB. This is going to become my primary white tail rifle once I decide on an optic. The upper came from Sabre with a YHM flip front sight. The MRE is designed around the standard front sight. After handling every flip-up front sight I could find at Shot Show, I decided to open it up a little to allow room for the screws on the YHM sight. I haven't taken any pics of the mill work yet, but it doesn't look bad. R4B

Still running my MRE, IMHO, it works as good as any of new stuff today! It was way ahead of it's time and even now there are new rails coming out that that have very similar features but the KAC FF-RAS MRE is the original playa...
Here's an older pic or my MRE carbine. I'm using a Vickers sling on it now and I've moved the M900 a bit further forward but it's still basically the same today.
