Do these look legit?
EBAY KAC Micros What say the hive? What should I be looking for as far as a legit KAC sight? I noticed they use a Hex/Allen head bolt for the main mount bolt. |

All USMC marked sights are stolen government property. Those are all USMC marked. The seller is a shitbag and probably knows another dufus who is jacking them from the supply chain. This is a little off topic but I've been looking to buy an M5 RAS and on eBay I notice a LOT of Knight's rail cover sets. Those are all "stolen" as well? |

Yes it's off center a bit, but it's definitely not an airsoft copy - it came sealed in an official KAC parts bag, complete with contact info label on the outside and instruction manual along with the sight. Don't let the off center issue fool you - it's legit. Here is another example of the same markings: |

I think they are blank just like the ones listed on AIMs website. Only difference I can see is the flat head verses the hex head mount screw. Did KAC ever use hex head screws? The ones in that auction are marked USMC, the seller fucked with the contrast of the photo on purpose but you can still see a slight glare from the lettering. |

But KAC is on record stating USMC marked BUIS have NEVER been sold to the public and any seen in the wild are either knockoffs or stolen fed property. |

From the Knight's industry forum reference USMC marked KAC gear, 7 posts down on page 1 Knight's chimes in. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_381/215190_More_stolen_sights_on_eBay_.html |
