I had two guns with the system. One with an Aimpoint and the other with the ACOG. Kept them that way for years until just yesterday when I tore the ACOG gun apart to put in the Adams Arms piston system. I had to repace the RAS II with a Daniel Defense free float to make it work.
They are very good solid rails. |

Does it Co-Whitness? Now that you ask, I can't remember. I swapped out the parts and put it in its current configuration right before I came back to Iraq from leave. I am pretty sure it does the lower 1/3 cowitness but again, not 100% sure. ETA: Several people tried to talk me into getting the new URX but first off I didn't want to pay someone to install it. Second, the only Micro Aimpoint mount I half way like is the GGG one and I figured the RAS II would do just as good a job as adding a mount (which it does). I also think the RASII with a standard Aimpoint mounted in a low ring looks pretty hot as well. |
