I just picked up a KAC micro 2-600m rear sight.

Just one question,

If i use a 36 yard USMC zero all i need to do is set it on 300m and be done with it, correct?

And for a 50/200y zero I just set it on 200m, correct?

Running as a primary rear until i gather the cash to buy a aimpoint after Christmas. Not worried about the 'actual' 2-600m adjustments because I hardly ever shoot irons past 200 yards.

Just looking for some reassurance to make sure i have it right.

If they are marked USMC, then KAC will tell you they are stolen from the marine corps and are contraband.

There are two ways to zero at 25 depending on the target. One you set to 300 and one you set to Z.

Or, you could always set it to 200 and zero at 50.

The "Z" is for a 25 meter expedient zero.
You can also zero at 36 yards set on "3" for another expedient zero.
I recommed zeroing at 50 meters with the sight set on "2", and confirming at 200.
If you do not have 200 yards/meters available, but have 100, your POA should be 2-3 inches above POI, and just get deflection pinned down.

With a 50/200 yard zero the POI will be 2-3" higher than POA at 100 yards, not lower.
