Well time has come to find a mount for a comp m2 and I am looking at the KAC mount. What do you guys think of this mount compared to the aimpoint qrp or larue cantilever mount.

I'm sure the quality is there, but it is a lot of money for what amounts to a non-repeatable QD mount.

Go with the LaRue.

IMHO, unless you have a specific reason to go with the KAC, then the Larue is a better deal...

That being said, I just picked up two KAC straight Aimpoint mounts and like them.

My KAC straight high Aimpoint M2 mount which have a lower 1/3 co-witness

In my opinion the KAC mount is better than the Aimpoint QRP but LaRue's return to zero lever system are the best.

KAC makes two types of mount, the straight and the cantilever, the cantilever model is better with Aimpoint magnifiers, NV optics, or if you just prefer the optic located as far forward of the upper receiver as possible.
