What's the difference between a KAC rear sight, and the same sight in "micro"?

AFAIK the differences are in the base that host the sight & the windage knob...making the micro lighter/smaller.
I'm not sure if the micro takes less rail space when mounted since I only have the standard version.

So it looks like the micro would be harder to adjust, at least for windage.
