I purchased a new m620v and looking at the ring, it is clearly offcenter. Not sure if this is the design of the head, or bad QC from surefire. Anyone elses head look the same? It also only clicks into place when locking the IR side

It's normal - the Vampire bezel features the IR diode and the white-light LED next to each other with the one selected being centred under the optic. The non-selected one being eccentric.
I'm not sure it's the right terminology but the bezel (with optic) 'cams' from one to the other as it is rotated. |
