Got the damn screws for the sling swivel tight and I can't get them loose, I've broken 3 of the star head wrenches...... I am planning to grab one from work tomorrow, but I am worried of totally stripping the heads.... Do keymods have a habit of binding?
I know I sound retarded but it is completely jammed.... Will not move at all, and when I put it on I didn't cross thread it... |
| Are the screw and the nut dissimilar metals by chance? That's a common cause of locked threads, and you're usually f**ked when that happens. Try some heat if you're sure you won't damage anything, but they may just be stuck. The solution is anti-seize but it's obviously too late for that. |

I'm going to assume so, I think BCM uses aluminum for the nuts with steel screws..... I guess if worse comes to worse I can just put the upper on the drill press and drill off the heads of the screws..... Really annoying though..... |
