[ARCHIVED THREAD] - KNS Perma Pin?

I just tried to install the perman pin I got in the mail today, and it didn't go well.
I lined the split up w/the bolt like the instructions say, and slowly pressed it in with thumb pressure. One of the legs snapped right off?
I'm getting a replacement, but what did I do wrong?
Any tips?

Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong....sounds like you just got a bad part. I bet you have no problems with the replacement.

+1. The replacement should work fine. I stopped using mine, though, since I find them hard to take off.
