Anyone tried them?  Any likes/dislikes?  Thinking about trying them, not sure though.  I have a GGG MAD rear sight and to zero my gun I have to put the front sight post way the hell up and it drives me crazy so I figured I might try one of these since I'm gonna buy a new front sight post anyways.

Thanks,
 Matt

I meant the circular ones with the crosshairs in them.  Also, anyone tried the XS Sights posts with the white stripe?

Matt,

I had one on a 16" FAL and I really liked it.

I'm not sure how durable it would be if carried through brush, but the cross hairs are thick enough that they should survive normal use.

The outer, circular portion of the sight is plenty robust.

They look like a good idea and I'd like to try one but its also $30 so I don't want to just buy one without hearing any reviews.

I tried one for 3-gun. The hood seems to reduce light transmission to the point where it is hard to see distant targets at all through one. IMHO they are worthless. I sold mine and got a JP Globe with crosshair, which was infinitely superior. Of course, the JP Globe will not fit on a standard FSB. If you are stuck with a standard FSB, get the thinnest A1 post you can and call it good.
