Thinking about getting a KNS "Push Button" Take Down Pivot Pin.

Seems like this would be pretty handy..., and KNS goods are generally top quality !!

Anyone have an opinion on these

The only ones I've seen listed are for the large-pivot Colts (.315"). Is yours large pivot?

Got a part number for Brownell's? All I'm seeing is the large one-- #923-000-039.

Thanks! I had the pivot hole on my large-hole Colt lower converted to small. I tried the self-captivating style pivot pin, which is similar to the KNS except that you couldn't release the detent balls' tension. Every time I removed it, the detent balls would wear the finish off around the hole. I've been using one of the small Colt one-sided screw pins instead. I like the idea of the KNS pins releasing tension for easy removal.

Just got the FAT pin for my SP2 Carbine which is large hole front.  Love it.  I had a 3 detent pin from another manufacturer which was ok but you could bump the pin to a position where it might walk out....NOT ANY LONGER!!!!  This KNS unit is nice...
