I've got the hooded duplex on my Bushy A3 20in. HBAR. It takes some time getting used to and your eye will alternate from focusing on the target and crosshairs which will drive you nuts, but this happens with all open sights. Once you get used to it I find it easier and faster to center the KNS in the rear sight aperature, place the crosshairs on the target and fire. There's a lot more guessing and lining up to do with the standard front sight post. As stickman said, sighting in is easy. Try one.

That's one of the stupidest fucking things I've seen for the AR yet. The IRON sight system on the AR15 rifle is one of the amazing features of the weapon that makes it so accurate. I would guess that someone who would put this crap on his gun has not mastered the IRONS at all. I saw something equally as retarded in the BLUE PRESS... A flip apperture for the AR with a REAR notch sight inplace of the LARGE APP! ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah! Lets take 5 steps backwards folks! |

I mastered the original iron sights on my AR just fine. The KNS front sight is 87 times better than the original A2 sight post. |
| Time for me to throw my question into the mix. I have a 16" Bushy. It has the shorter (not F marked) front sight base. I had to install a taller front sight post to get my shot groups down. For those that have it, is it tall enough. The taller post is .040. I'm not sure what the mil spec post is. |
Spoken like someone who has no experience with the item. Seydou |

Replaced 2 blade sights with these "stupidest fucking things for the AR" and I wouldn't go back. As one who never pretented to master the iron sights, I was just looking for something that would improve my shooting an iron sighted AR. These are well worth the money IMO. |
