Anyone making a direct attach keymod VFG yet?  I haven't seen one.  I assume most people are using a rail section.  If that's the only option at the moment, is there a keymod rail section that's lower height profile than others?

What would you like to see in a KeyMod VFG/AFG?

I too have been curious about direct attach keymod accesories.

I would say a modular VFG kind of like the one made by Troy or Larue where can change the length etc....

made out of polymer to prevent heat transfer into the VFG.

If at all possible a tool less installation method but I dont know if that would be possible with keymod

I'd love a lowest profile Magpul AFG with direct keymod support.  Keep things nice and tight to the rail.

A modular snubby direct keymod VFG would be cool too.  Or a Larue handstop with direct keymod.

I think tool less would be doable but not easily made modular. Use a bolt through the body and make it work similar to the kac foregrips.

I'd just like to see a handstop that is actually comfortable.

Google brought me here looking for a KeyMod VFG, which is why this reply is a little late to the thread.  What I would like is a short VFG that transitions smoothly to a KeyMod rail.  I modified the rail from a Magpul RVG to fit on my NSR, and this combo is really nice.  However, the fact that the nuts aren't captured makes it a pain to move from slot to slot in order to adjust length of reach.

That would be a good way to solve the technical problem of how to attached a VFG to KeyMod slots though- use a low-profile KeyMod base that the VFG then locks onto once the base is in place.

I would be all over that.

Reviving this thread...I decided to try the Lanco Grip Stop.  Installed it today and feels perfect.  Very secure, simple and lightweight.  Will run some practice with it this week.

This! IMO, Mark's handstops are as close to perfection as I've yet to find. I also enjoy my cut-down/shortened Magpul vertical grips.

Too much work for the lazy bones out there. Just kidding, good idea. Similar to what I did with my LT handstops in order to mount them to my Troy/V-tac and Magpul MOE handguards after seeing Titleist's how-to thread from awhile back. Another great idea with an even better outcome.

Yup. Makes for a super clean set-up without having to use the extra rail section. If you're interested in the original how-to, try Googling "MOE handstop." Should come up for you. Sorry, I don't have a direct link at the moment.
