M-Lok has been out a couple years now and it seems like people are finally swinging that way. The hand guards I'm looking at the Keymod is slightly less expensive. Which makes me think M-LOK is more popular. Personally I think the M-Lok looks better without all the mini wieners all over it.

There has been a lot of investment in the product in recent years. Perhaps this year's panic will clean out the Keymod inventory. You are one of the guys that sees dicks in the Keymod rails, you should get MLOK to avoid nightmares

M-Lok vs Keymod it is kind of like Chevy vs Ford. They both do the same thing they each just do it a bit different but the end goal is the same.
I went M-Lok partly because I already had MOE handguards so my attachments moved over and because I did not want my rifle covered in penis shapes.

It's funny the threads I was finding were from 2014 and everyone was saying oh that new mlok is stupid it will never last lol. Then I saw some posts about the dicks and realized I much prefer the look of the mlok. So mlok it is!!!! This is basically the last part I need for my build. Might have to go Amex to sneak another $450 past the boss because I can't wait much longer lol |

9mm is better because you get more rounds & with modern ballistic advancements, it is within a fraction of the performance of .45 to the point where .40 just doesn't make sense.
edit: I am sticking with keymod because I already have two builds using it vs 0 with mlok. I own 0 keymod accessories at the moment but do intend to purchase some inthe near future. |

Key Mod requires a license fee for third party makers. M-Lok does not. Magpul put out the build spec and any manufacturer can make it. That will give M-Lok a larger market. Keymod was released by Vltor as an open source design, Magpul requires a free license to use M-Lok. |
