I ordered a KAC Low Aimpoint Mount (Product ID: KAC-99430) from Wes at MSTN for use on a RAS II system. I'm pleased with the mount, but I have one problem: It doesn't have a thumbnut to allow field removal of the mount without a tool. It has a regular hex nut and I need to be able to remove the mount at night without keeping a wrench in my pocket...

Is one available?

I would rather leave it on, but it interferes with my Attila. The distance between the Aimpoint Comp M2 and the FSB interferes with the laser. I wish I could install a flip-up FS, but that is not an open option on this carbine (LE6721).

Send me a mailing address and I will send you our normal wingnut and the nylon washer that goes with it.
Somebody down in Assembly put the wrong nut on your mount.
