I'm adding the Knights RAS on my 6920.  Never installed them before, no instructions.  The top piece has the "arrow towards front" marking, how does the bottom piece install?  Didn't see any obvious markings saying which way points forward.  This is the "no gunsmithing needed" model.

Thanks in advance.

They should, but I think there is an oddball case out there that won't fit.
I had a Bushy HBAR and the M5 fit on mine.

The RAS is designed to fit Government M4 profile barrels.  For a heavy barrel, you should get the RIS.

Just got done putting on the RAS.  With those instructions took all of oh, maybe 4 minutes-hey I was watching some college football on TV.

Thank you again, really appreciate it.

Edit to add that whatever barrel the 6920 comes with, the RAS it perfectly.

I cant ever remember the difference between the RAS and RIS but the one I have is the same that the Army issues and I have had mine on a Bushmaster Hbar before with no problem.

The RAS (younger bro) clamps to barrel nut where as the RIS (older bro) is secured via the delta ring like any other two piece rail system. Incidentally, the T-numbers differ between the two as well.

Yep, I have one on my LMT M4 govt profile and ran into a small problem when putting one on my RRA Entry Tactial.  Nothing that a dremel didn't fix. Had to shave a little off  to get it to fit.
