Anybody have the KoTonics 6.8 uppers and how do they work? Also see KoTonics is considering an 18 in bbl version. Sweet. Now I just need to find the bucks. |

I've got one - it is a great shooter and 100% reliable so far. I appreciate having the revised chamber and it does not seem to affect accuracy enough to notice. The Cerakote on the barrel is a nice touch - much better wearing than parkerizing. I sent him an LT 9.0 and a PRI FUFS and he customized the upper for me while still offering the one-year warranty on his work. Tim is very responsive and helpful - he's definitely out to win our business. ETA: Photo

Couldn't be happier. My second time to range I was able to get the 5 shot group below at 100 yards with SSA standard loads with Sierra Match King bullets. This was from a bench with a shooting rest and rear bag that I'm still trying to figure out. Even with the rest and bag I was still a little wobbly, and working on consistant shot prep, so I'm sure it could be tighter. After 100 shots, I've had zero failures and have nothing but excellent things to say about Kotonics service.
