Is the chamber rough? A polish could help.

Rifle length gas tube? Carbine length gas tube? What does the buffer weigh?

Shooting M80 ball or equivalent? Or commercial bolt gun ammo? (It makes a difference in chamber pressure)

Rifle length System, dont know the weight of the buffer its the standard rifle buffer from fulton andi tired using federals, Remingtons, Winchesters, and surplus and they all stick after a while

Send it back to DPMS, they only need the upper to fix the problem

I don't think lube is going to fix your problem, The Dpms have tight chambers, mine do the same thing with SA and silver bear 308.  Yours sounds like it has a very tight chamber, easy for a good smith to fix.....or you could lube your ammo like the jap type 96 MG

Many of us have had to polish the chambers.   I use an old shotgun cleaning rod cut off at about 18"  with a shotgun 28ga ( or 20 ga if it is not too tight )cleaning mop heavily covered with Flitz and chucked into a variable speed drill. Run this in the chamber for 5-10 minutes at low RPM.  This has taken care of the problem on all three of my rifles.
