I bought a 458 SOCOM upper a couple years back, and am not using the green rifle buffer spring, since my upper is mounted on a lower with a collapsible stock. Now I am working on putting together an LR-308, and hate seeing parts just sitting around.
Does anyone know if the green buffer spring shipped with 458 SOCOM uppers is the same as an LR-308 / AR10 rifle buffer spring, or if it is inadvisable to use the rifle buffer spring in a LR-308? Thank you for any input. |
