I picked this up Monday:

Fit and finish is excellent and yes it comes with 30 rounders. Sorry for the crappy pic but I just unwrapped it and had to show it off.

That is a fine rifle!  Congrats on a nice purchase.  Be sure and let us know how it shoots.

30-round mags?  Colt's website says they come with 20s!

That does it, I'm cancelling my order!!!

Beautiful.  Cool news about the 30 rd mags.  Maybe that's an excuse to buy some 20 rd mags now.

Congrats.  Yeah, the most recent production ones are coming through with a 30-round mag and a blue tinted Colt bag (not crsipy like the older clear ones).  Enjoy it.

Sweet!  Wish I could get one here...

One question; is the telescopic stock staked on like the old CAR's or can it be easily removed with a stock wrench?  I have been thinking that it might be possible to make a NY legal LE6920 by installing either a stubby stock or fixed m4 stock and making the upper compliant (obviously keeping the removed parts for trips out of state).

If you can find one, expect  to pay a huge premium. Nobody that has these in stock is selling it for less than around 1600. People on backorder list have been waiting close to two months. SAW usually gets them in decent numbers and they sell it for $1395.

Specialized Armament

They have been showing zero stock for a week now.

They are not staked from the factory in the old sense (dark substance placed where nut indents meet plate indents).  They do match the nut indents exactly with tiny indents on the plate though.

Lucky Guy
I realy want one of those.

I have been keeping my eye on gunbroker for one that is not too high priced, but no luck.

I think some people have bought them from the two dealers in the EE from and now are re-selling
for the profit.

no problem that is what makes America great.

Thanks!  It does come with two Colt 30's and the usual sling and book, brush, etc.. On the outside of the box is a sticker that reads "Model AR 30round mag". The upper to lower fit is tight, NO wobble and the action is silky smooth. I mean when you hold the weapon and cycle the bolt, it just feels right. Not to rub it in, but I only waited 3 days for it and paid less than what people are paying for a comparable LEO Bushy. Let's just say it was under $1000.

The Bushmaster LEO M4A3 runs me $864.50, if you beat that by very much than you did pretty good!

You beat me by a few bucks. Not that much though. What came with your M4A3? If you don't mind my asking.

All my weapons are shooters! Some don't get used as much as others, but they all get a workout. I'm loading my new DH/Labelles's now for fun in the backyard. As for availability, (and price) yeah it's about who you know. But that comes from finding a dealer, creating a friendship, being loyal, helping each other out, etc..

30 round mag, sling, manual, and case.  Its nothing special, its the typical Bushie deal.  For clarification, it wasn't me that bought it, it was another officer, but it wasn't a special sale or limited amount of M4s.

I got my LE6920 Sept. 16th after paying for it and waiting well over a month before the Sunset. I paid $935 Next Day Air to my FFL. I'm in line for another for $1000 delivered. It really does pay to to have a good working relationship with dealer. He had many other opportunities to profit on my gun/accessory purchases from him in the past ,and knows this isn't going to be the last time he'll hear from me again.

Oh yeah, mine is in the LE0169xx series and it came with 2 20-rnd mags and the clear crinkle bag described earlier. Mine is still in the bag and I haven't had the heart to open the bag with the mags/manual, cleaning kit etc. yet. Thankfully I have other AR's around to keep me busy and away from shooting it ..... for awhile anyway.

You do know that if you don't open it and shoot it'll start rusting right?

I picked up my "safe queen" LE6920 this afternoon and it had 2-30 rounders.

Hell of a day...first GWB, then another Colt for the collection.
