Searched for threads about barrel twist rates and didn't find what I'm looking for.  Have seen a few charts that lead the reader to believe that lighter weight bullets might disintegrate out of a 1:7 twist barrel.  So, my question is, does anyone have experience (good or bad) using XM193 with a 1:7 twist rate?  Since I'm picking up an LE6920, I'm not looking for recommendations on other twist rates.

50 grain HP and 55gr FMJ have been just fine out of a 1/7 twist barrel.

I shoot 55 gr. bullets out of my 6920 all the time because its all i can find.62 gr. bullets should be more accurate as are even heavier bullets up to 75 gr.then you start to have issues of it fitting in you magazine.55 gr bullets work fine out of a 1-7 twist barrel.

I've been buying Fiocchi 62gr FMJ from Ammotogo for the range. It is very clean and accurate. I had zero problems out of the last 500. Ammotogo has it for $18.95 per 50 / $187.95 per 500 / $369.95 per 1000. That's cheaper than XM193

That may be true, but I have plenty of XM193 left over from my previous AR, so I'm not planning on buying other kinds of ammo.  That's why I wanted to know about other's experience using XM193 through a 1:7 twist.

3,500 rounds of M193 through my 1/7's and never a problem. Plenty accurate too for the type too. You probably won't have any problems but keep in mind that each individual barrel of the same type can shoot differently & so can the same ammo of different lots.

My 1/7 BCM shoots XM193 as good or good(er) than my 1/9.

Thanks for all of the replies guys.  Glad to know that I won't have to replace my ammo stash to trade up to the LE6920.

I shoot american eagle tactical (black box) 55 grain ball ammo all the time out of my Colt 6920, and I never had a issue with the ammo or my rifle. I also shot a ton of privi partizan 62 grain and 55 without any problems as well as xm193.
