| Searched for threads about barrel twist rates and didn't find what I'm looking for. Have seen a few charts that lead the reader to believe that lighter weight bullets might disintegrate out of a 1:7 twist barrel. So, my question is, does anyone have experience (good or bad) using XM193 with a 1:7 twist rate? Since I'm picking up an LE6920, I'm not looking for recommendations on other twist rates. |

I shoot 55grn ammo all the time in my rifles and all of them are 1/7..no problems have occurred as of yet... |

I shoot 55 gr. bullets out of my 6920 all the time because its all i can find.62 gr. bullets should be more accurate as are even heavier bullets up to 75 gr.then you start to have issues of it fitting in you magazine.55 gr bullets work fine out of a 1-7 twist barrel. |

I've been buying Fiocchi 62gr FMJ from Ammotogo for the range. It is very clean and accurate. I had zero problems out of the last 500. Ammotogo has it for $18.95 per 50 / $187.95 per 500 / $369.95 per 1000. That's cheaper than XM193 |
