Re: LEO Sales? When a LE officer purchases a "LEO" weapon with department letterhead, there's a restriction in that the officer only truly posesses that weapon after he retires, correct? But it seems for weapons such as the LE6920 or LE6520, since there is no law (in most states) restricting those weapons for civillians, that the officer should be able to transfer the weapon to a civillian, but is this an agency policy, or is it a law somewhere? From what limited info is in the above thread, it seems this can vary by department, but is it possible to have a weapon transfered from an officer to a civillian?
