Looking at some trading on LMT, what`s the low down on quality of this weapon. Thanks, KW

Here's a little teaser, it might help  LMT Defender 2000 with SureFire M73 rail.

Here's my LMT Defender carbine with KAC M4 RAS rails and Magpul furniture

LMT has good quality and it's the closest to Colt with Mil-spec features compared to other brands, I have no problems with mine.

I'm running mine with LMT M16 BCG, BCM extra power extractor spring upgrade and upgraded the buffer with the LMT H buffer.

The buffer that comes standard with the LMT lower, what type is it?  A standard buffer, an H, or an H@?

The LMT lowers comes with the standard carbine buffer but there's no problem with it because LMT have smaller than average gas port hole in their barrels, so their system is really designed to work with the standard weight buffer.

LMT carbines could also use heavier buffers which is up to the owners preference all the way up to the heaviest H3 and 9mm buffers.

I prefer the H buffer for a little extra reliability which is in my opinion needed on all carbine gas systems of any brands.

After a lot of research the LMT will be my next non-piston weapon. I say go for it.
