Question for LMT owners...How do you like the std single stage trigger of the Defender 2000?

Trying to decide between single and 2-stg...

TIA

Their standard trigger is just like any other standard trigger. It is good and reliable. Get their two stage if you are building a gun with an accuracy edge. If you are building a blaster, the standard is fine.

Thanx for the reply...

Will probably do a bit of range shooting...hard to say where my first AR will take me.

It's a supply/price/time decision as well I suppose...trying to talk myslef into something one way or the other so I can move forward!

I just got a LMT Defender 2000 with the standard trigger.  I have two other lowers with the RRA 2 stage trigger and I really like them.  On two other lowers, I had the standard trigger.  One was so bad I had to look to make sure the safety was not engaged.  I sent both of them to Bill Springfield for his $38 trigger job.  Best $38 I've ever spent on my ARs.  With that said, the LMT standard trigger is not too bad, but It will probably go to Mr. Springfield for some of his magic.

Hmm...Single stage lowers are readily available to me "locally".  2 stg will need to be shipped in or upgraded at greater cost.

I could probably pick up a stock single stage trigger later in the EE to send off to Bill (praise seems universal) so there would be no down time as well.
