In terms of weight, how does the LMT MRP integrated rail compare to a standard carbine upper w/ carbine length rail? Yes, I know that there are many rails. Let's just say in general. As it compares ot let's say a Troy or That is, without the barrel?

LMT MRP carbine length weighs ~25oz.

An M4 upper weighs 8.5oz.

DD 7.0 lite rail is 8.5oz.

Troy MRF-C is 11.1oz.

I can barely tell the weight difference between my 16" LMT CQB MRP and my RRA M4 with the KAC RAS.

Also take into consideration the barrel profile is different on the MRP.
