Just went to the range with my brand new LMT MRP.

It seems to group well enough, what is troubleing is that I have to max out the LMT BUIS to the left in order for the rifle to print anywhere near the point of aim.

Seems to be shooting way to the right, anyone else have a similiar experience?
This is at 25yds with 855 green tip.

I did use the search and did not find any relevent posts.

Really disappointed, though hopeful to resolve.

Thanks

I am unfamilier with te MRP but from what I've seen they use a front sight that clamps onto the rail. Am I right?

Most likley your rail is not straight or the front or rear sight you are using is canted.

What kind of front sight are you using?

Don't take this the wrong way but are you sure it's an LMT rear sight. It should have LMT lettering on the side. There are a few LMT look a likes out there. Mostly sold on Ebay.

I have a 16" MRP but it has GGG sights.  Rear and front sights are dead center with the bore and right on target.

Barrel torqued properly?
When the shots are on, how do the sights look in relation to the barrel?
Is it grouping tightly?
Try different sights.
Try different ammo.

I don't think different ammo is going to help. If he's maxed out on his rear sight and still shooting right at 25 yards, he just barley hit paper at 50 yards.

No ammo is going to be that far off.

To the OP: I would contact LMT too and see what they have to say.

Yes, front and rear sights are 100% original LMT.

Rifle was bought as a complete rifle assembled by the factory, have the box and papers.

I also airsoft, and have the replica too, their is a big difference between the 2.

I'll stop by the shop (can't get there until Friday) in the meantime contact LMT.

I appreciate your responses.

Did you try taking the sights off than putting them back on?

They might have been put on wrong or bumped whilst in shipping and handling. I wouldn't call this thread an LMT MRP problem as the upper is just fine. It's a sight problem.

Resetting the sights was the first thing I did. The sights look fine in relation to the barrel.
