My search only goes back a month and no go on it.

I've read that the torque wrench from LMT isn't the greatest.  I remember another wrench was recommended.  Does anyone know what I'm talking about?  I'm in need for a wrench for my new-to-me upper.

ETA: I found something in the MRP Badness (pg7) about SeeKonk.  That wasn't the thread I remember reading though.  I think I'll call SeeKonk though.

Meh!  I thought SeeKonk was expensive.....

Can anyone tell me the deficiencies of the LMT tool?

The main issue with the tool supplied by LMT is you cannot adjust it in any way.
They come with some tape to prevent you moving the adjustment.
I wrap them up with more electrical tape to ensure it never moves.

So as long as you never adjust it, it will work fine, because once those
cheap chinese wrenches are calibrated they will not return to the correct setting if moved.

I don't have a problem with not adjusting it.  It's not like I can adjust my SCAR's SeeKonk.  So if I don't ever plan on adjusting it, I'll be good w/ the LMT supplied wrench?

Unless you are a tool junkie and need expensive tools, it will be fine.

There more I look at it.....

So with this, I can dial it in to take care of my MRP, change it to take care of the Scar, and then change it to do something else?

If you want the pos wrench that comes with the MRP uppers, I'll send you one of mine, I've got a few extra laying around taking up space. LMK

Has anyone used both the Seekonk and the PI torque wrench?  And is one a clear winner as far as price vs. performance?

The Seekonk looks like a better wrench in my opinion.  I like the T handle.  Less chance of slip.
