Whats the difference btw the:
1) LMT CQB MRP (carbine) version w/ 10.5" barrel and the 2) LMT MRP (rifle) version w/ 10.5" barrel? There is a $200 difference, is that it? Also, what are your thoughts on LMT Barrels? |

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no, but I don't have any first hand experience with that exact setup. I am gonna go with what he said. I have the CQB length and in my experience that is plenty of rail to mount everything. I think I have read in one of the forums that you can not mount most suppressors on the rifle length MRP with shorty barrel (10.5") because of clearance issues. |

No its not a gas system difference, when talking about the MRP vs MRP CQB your talking about the length of the rail and that's all. All LMT MRP/MRP CQB barrels are interchangeable with each other (it's the same barrel), and all MRP barrels have a particular length gas system depending on what length barrel you get. For example all 10.5 inch MRP barrels are carbine length gas tubes, the 16 inch is a mid length gas tube. But I wouldn't run a 10.5 inch barrel on the MRP, I would only run it on the CQB MRP..The 10.5 inch barrel barely sticks out (1.5 to 2 inches) on the CQB MRP. So it might look lost in the regular MRP.
I would get the CQB MRP if I were you. I have 2, they are fantastic. The extra rail space isn't needed in my opinion. |

Thanks, I ordered a 10.5" CQB MRP and a 16" MRP w/ stainless barrel about an hour ago.
I was going to make this a Noveske barrel/VLTOR upper but I called both today and couldn't even get placed on their waiting list. I understand they are busy. This LMT setup will really work just fine for me. Thanks. |

I run the CQB MRP on my 16 inch barrel also. I think the regular MRP is just too long, but that's just my opinion. You made a smart purchase, you wont regret it. Also, the LMT barrels are great, they are maching gun grade barrels. |
