I know very little about the Military? What Branch are useing the 10.5 upper ( Navy I think MK ?? ) Why dont the Military use a complete LMT Rifle/SBR/M4 Does the military use the LMT Tactical Adjustable Rear Sight on the 10.5 upper Just wanted to know what LMT is being used Thanks |
the navy is using the little shorties that everyone here is hot after. they are called the MK 18 mod 0. there is a HUGE pic thread dedicated to them around here somewhere... the .mil doesn't use "complete" rifles because that would just cost us taxpayers too much. instead they upgrade what they got, when they can. the upper the MK 18 mod 0 is built with is the LMT 10.5" that many vendors sell on here. the military puts a lot of extra goodies on afterwards though. |
yes they do. i've used one also in the past. nice unit, but i don't like things right in front of my face when i'm using a red-dot. i prefer folding rears. if you don't care, you'll be perfectly happy with the LMT BUIS. ETA: check here... http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=271832 |
