No theyre built in so I dont think you can take them off

Thats half right. You can't install the factory one as it is part of the mold. You can get an after market mount that will attach to the gen one sopmod though.

Including I think one that fits through the sling loop under the buffer tube.

Yea but its marked LMT. While KAC has said they make them it doesn't mean lmt couldn't get them from someone else at some point as well.

I think he means the adaptor, KAC's fits and I imagine one from M&I would too.
