[ARCHIVED THREAD] - LMT Upper Question

Forgive my ignorance I am a newbie. If I bought an LMT M4 upper to put on my postban Bushmaster lower come September would the bolt and carrier out of my postban Bushy M4 work in the LMT upper? Also is the enhanced bolt and carrier made by LMT worth the extra $$$?

yes, standard bolts and carriers will work in an LMT M4 upper, and vice versa. they'll also work with the LMT MRP. but the enhanced carrier might not well with a shorty barrel (10.5").
i'd say the enhanced bolt is worth the extra cash - as for the carrier, it depends on your usage. if you need it, then it may be. if you don't, then it's not. the enhanced bolt also works with standard carriers.

Thanks for the info! I have a couple more questions. What types of usage would require the enhanced carrier? What does MRP stand for?

While I do not know about usage on the enhanced carrier, I can tell you that MRP stands for Monolithic Rail Platform.
