I am about to start on a project to build an AR with 24" bbl for target shooting.   What are the options available for an LPK with a trigger upgrade???

Save up for a match trigger now. Next month if u have any left over cash buy the LPK.
Some match triggers go from $100-$250 so start saving. Really you should buy the scope first, but the 3 big ticket items you need to worry about right now are optics, a barrel, and a match trigger. :]

I went with a dpms lpk and JP enterprise reduced power spring kit. Ive never used a match trigger, Ive always shot witht the standard triggers so this was a huge upgrade for me. I will try a match trigger next time or later on.

if you're planning on a complete aftermarket hammer/trigger package (timney, cmc, etc) save some money up front and get this LPK from adco:

adcofirearms.com/itemdetails_.cfm?inventorynumber=2103

another way to go would be to buy a complete LPK such as:

adcofirearms.com/itemdetails_.cfm?inventorynumber=1313

and send the stock trigger, hammer, and springs to bill springfield to be tuned:

Thanks for the info.  I found a RRA NM trigger for $95 shipped.  I already have a DPMS LPK I can use along with an Eagle or an EA lower.
