| Given a choice between Double Star, DPMS or Stag, which would you chose for a LPK? Prices for all three brands seems to be about the same price, just wondering if there is any real difference between them. |

I vote stag
I hate DPMS LPK, mostly due to the cheaped out safety and the roll pins. The safety just looks cheap and half assed, on the right side the mark that points to safe and fire was just hammered on there with a punch... And proper roll pins kinda look like this... "U" DPMS roll pins look like this "@", and they can be a pain in the ass to install Sitting the DPMS parts next to RRA parts you can see a difference in overall quality. 
I try to only use RRA LPK if I can, I hear good things about the stag kits though, I have never used one though |
| In the past year I used...........a DPMS kit and a DEL-TON LPK.............I used the Del-ton on a stag receiver and the DPMS kit on a Yankee hill receiver.................Something was out of spec with the Disconnect on the Delton kit............I replaced the Disconnect that was supplied with the kit with another one and had no problems................the DPMS kit was perfect........I no problems with it at all and would not hesitate to buy another one................... |
