Any suggestions on lower parts kits out there?
Any manufacturers to avoid over others?

I've had really good luck with CMT.  A friend built one with a doublestar and it looked good too.

www.ar15sales.com is having a sale on RRA lpk's right now. 63$ shipped.

RRA and Stag seem to be the arfcom consensus best LPK's that are readily available.

AIM has CMMG lpk's for $57 with $.01 shipping.

What's the arfcomm consensus on CMMG lpk's?

Same as DPMS Go with RRA

So...CMMG and DPMS are from the same manufacturer and of lesser quality than Stag and RRA?

so all you guys that have build your AR15 OLL do you have to shoot single shoots or multiple shoots or you can't let us hear the comments

RRA

I've used both RRA and CMMG.  CMMG is serviceable, but RRA was much better in fit and finish.

"Put the keyboard down son."
What does that have to do with anything? To my knowledge this thread is about semi-auto lower parts kits.

I have 7 DPMS LPK's and haven't had any problems.  I like them.  The two Del-Ton kits I've had were good too.

I put a DPMS LPK in my CMMG lower receiver.  Everything went together great, parts appear to be of high quality, and the trigger feels good.  I have no experience with the rest of what DPMS sells, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their LPK's.  Read the reviews at midwayusa.com.

I've used about a half dozen DPMS LPK's without any issues either.  I hear a lot of DPMS bashing on this site from time to time but I guess I've been lucky with my LPK's and stripped DPMS Lowers!?!?!

I've only built one lower to date.  The LPK came from AR15Sales and was purportedly RRA.  It went into a Stag lower fine.  Unfortunately the trigger SUCKS!  Long, heavy & gritty, not to mention it doubles on me.

I'll be using something else in the three other lowers I have sitting in the safe.

Rhino is refering to CA guys that built Off List Lowers (OLL) as to whether they build single shots, regular or don't want to say.

Well that is a funny way of asking.  Aren't they due to fall off into the Pacific any day now?
I'm sure the gangbangers don't build there own, the either steal them from the .gov or buy them on the blackmarket.

Oh....it wasn't ebonics.  It was cal-bonics...

I just installed a Bushmaster LPK this weekend on a new build, and it has a nice trigger pull.   Unlike how my Colt came from the factory....

That's about all I can say about it, since I haven't fired the rifle yet.  $70 from PK Firearms.
