Here is the situation. LR308B, Factory Hornady 168gr BTHP Match ammo, Pmag, Mobile 1, and a POF roller cam pin. I fired the entire box, as well as about 10 handloads, with Hornady brass, CCI primer, IMR 4064, and Hornady 168grBTHP bullets. The weapon seemed to function well until I inspected the brass for reloading purposes and found that 7 out of 30 rounds had blown primers. I have already contacted DPMS and they told me to send it to them for repairs, which I plan on doing. I am just wondering if anyone has any idea what might be causing this?

Which 7 blew? That is very important to this problem. If 7 reloads blew you've got a reloading  problem.  How much IMR   4064 did you use? Did you start with a minimum load?

If you were blowing   factory ammos  primers then I would say you've got a gas  problem.

I'd say it's got a date with dpms for sure  then. I'm still fairly new to all of this, but it could be a gas port / gas block problem. I'm sure some one will chime in here any minute.

Anyone else have any input on this issue?

blown primers can be one of three problems or a combination, the frist would be a timing and head spacing issue, the second would be improper loading and or the thrid being bad brass where the primer recess has been deformed.
