I'm stumped.  Its a LR308B.  I shot 100 rounds of handloads and blackhills through it two weeks ago with no problems at all.  Now, I can get more than 3 or 4 rounds to fire before jamming.  Its having an issue w/ the bolt not closing all the way.  It even occurs on the FIRST SHOT!  IE: I try to chamber the round and it doesn't go all the way forward.  When I came home from shooting I took her apart for cleaning and noticed what appeared to be excessive wear on the bolt carrier.  I don't have a pic, but it is showing normal wear on the middle, but what appears to be over the top wear on the left and right edges of the bottom.  What could be causing this??  The ammo is the Prvi 145grn FMJ.  It was accurate and seemed decent.... but even if it was the reason it wouldn't cycle that doesn't explain it not chambering the first round....  Any thoughts?  Bad buffer spring?

Wrong forum but............clean it well and oil the hell out of. The LR308's like to be real wet while breaking in. Clean and oil the bolt carrier/bolt group real well, run a chamber brush in the chamber, a smear of oil inside the buffer tube and you should be good to go. Keep it overly clean until it breaks in.

Shoot , repeat.
