any issues with swapping out triggers on the LR308??? Any AR15 trigger will work right???
I have the JP adjustable and as dumb as it sounds, I like my RRA 2 stage better I think. |

Both JP and RRA will work in the LR308.
You may need to grind off the uppermost tip of the cocked RRA hammer to provide clearance with the bottom of the bolt carrier (the RRA hammer doesn't cam back as far as others and this causes the underside of the bolt carrier to drag on the tip of the hammer). You'll know if you have to grind it by slowly retracting the charging handle and feeling for drag. |

I had to knock this much off the Rock River two-stage trigger to get it to clear the bolt carrier in my LR-308.
Did this with a file - the hammer is soft enough that the file cuts with no problem. 
...also had to dremel the cut in the selector a little wider to allow the ass-end of the trigger to not drag on the selector. Had to use the dremel bit on the selector. My dull file wouldn't cut through the finish on the selector. 
Love the trigger now. |
