| Can someone post a pic of a LR-308 Classic/Tac20 or similar with a V-Tac full length handguard. Im considering this handguard and would like to see what it looks like on a rifle with the full length gas system. Thanks for the help. |

Scope height is a math problem. If the OD of the objective is 50mm, thats 25mm to the center. it the tube is 30mm, thats 15mm to the center so thats a net of 10mm from top of rail to bottom of ring saddle. Thats the Minimum. but you probably want a little height for buffer and scope caps and stuff. Simple answer: LT-158. Best there is. As for your request, Wirebrush's 308 from page 1 of the DPMS pics thread:  This is my DPMS with a stock tube (similar size to VTac). Mount is LT-158, scope is IOR 2-10x42mm. You see there is some daylight between bell and tube.
