[ARCHIVED THREAD] - LR-308 needs glasses

Ok so I ordered a DPMS LR-308B with an 18" heavy barrel, and now I need some glass for it. hing
The rifle will be used for hunting and some target shooting. All within 500yrds. I would like to know what your suggestions are and why.

Come on guys two days and nothing. Somebody's got to have some suggestion. My rifle came in today and I would really like to hear what you guys think.

Not a variable, but very good glass considering the quite reasonable cost.

I've done a lot of business with these folks, and they are good-to-go.

I've heard some good things about the super sniper too, but 10x is a little much for some of the close shots I might have while hunting thats why I was going for something varible power.

Then perhaps this might be more appropriate for your needs.

I've had one on a M1A for the past couple of years and it works quite well.
