| So I really like how compact the LWRC ultra compact stock kit makes a rifle, but I'm just not a fan of the stock itself. It's kinda loose, which I understand I can fix with electrical tape, but it's also short height wise and doesn't really fit into my shoulder pocket for a secure fit. Instead the stock sits on the upper part of my shoulder and just doesn't feel secure. Is there an alternate buttstock that can still take advantage of the short buffer tube? Or does anyone manufacture and extended length buttpad to make the rear of the stock taller? |

So does anyone have any other stocks that you can cut 2 inches off of?
As you can see in the above picture, I could cut the Rogers stock back two inches, but it's not exactly made of the toughest material, and I'd lose the locking lever. Can anyone post a picture or measure the MFT Minimalist to see if you could cut that much off the front of it? |

You should be able to cut material off a plain old M4 stock. I seem to recall someone said they were using cut down Vltor stocks on some of the earlier set ups.
I'm going to investigate shortening a B5 Sopmod stock, looks pretty straightforward but I don't have the LWRC stock kit to compare all the pieces. The battery storage would obviously be cut down a bit but should still work... |
