Thanks LaRue. This should be a great help to anyone who should choose to purchase one of your FINE optic mounts.

I am working on a mid-length carbine build with M-4 type handguards for now, so no rails
on the handguards yet.

I have an Aimpoint M2 on the factory QR mount w/spacer as shown on your chart.

If I were to use your Po-Boy optic on LT-649 mount behind the Aimpoint, it does not look like there would be enough rail
left on the receiver to mount a folding BUIS behind the LT-649. Would that be correct?

I was kinda leaning towards buying your fixed BUIS anyhow, so not being able to use a magnifier
will be OK anyway.

I don't have any of your gear yet but plan to do some business with my
fellow Texans at LaRue in the future.

Thanks for posting the charts,

EMSflyer

Please add an LT 150 & LT 129 (short) to the list because some of us use LaRue mounts on our ML2/3's.

Do this and the universe will be complete...

That is why he has cantilever (LT-129) mounts in addition to the straight (LT-150) mounts.  The M2 should fit fine on the Cantilever, just like the M3 does.

I'd like to switch to the LaRue cantilever mount and get a Troy rear BUIS at some point but not funded for all that just yet. I already own the Aimpoint factory mount
so I'm trying to do the best with what I have on hand.

I do appreciate the idea however!

Cheers,
