This is my first post and I want to apologize before hand if I'm beating a dead horse but I would like some opinions.

I was looking to build my first AR using a LaRue stealth upper but then I noticed that they offer the OBR. The price difference does not seem great between building a comparable AR to buying the OBR already built.
Is there any advantage one over the other?

I was going to build my own Larue rifle and I wound up getting the OBR 5.56 with an 18" barrel.
I bought an extra LaRue lower so as I wanted I could build my own as I found the parts.
You cant go wrong w/the OBR, it is a well built rifle.

Plus, if something does go wrong, the warrenty will cover it.

Thank you for the feedback. Why did you go with the 18" over the 16"?

Thanks,

No real valid reason,I just wanted something a little differant
I have 3 16" ARs and I had a 20" ar so I thought I would try something else.

I did an 18" for this exact reason.  Variety plus 18 IMO is kind of the sweet spot on length.  16/14.5 just a little to short 20+ to long 18 falls right in the middle and works great
