I've seen people talk about using the Lakeside recoil springs but haven't heard if anyone has used their lighter hammer spring and disconnect spring? Anyone? Thanks, JR |

I installed the lighter springs in my RR and it made the JAC kit run 100% with anything I wanted to put through it. The problem I ran into with the light springs was the trigger slap when using the 9mm OLY-style upper. I put the standard hammer spring back in and that solved the trigger slap issue but then noticed the gun would double or triple when on semi with both the 9mm and 5.56 uppers. I put the standard disconnector spring back in and everything is back to normal. |

I just threw the recoil spring onto my Ceiner and was done w/ it, no trimming required. I can get an occasional fail-to-eject jam using my stash of 15+ year old Winchester high-velocity ammo, but with all others I've tried no issues. It really seems to like PMC copper-washed cheap stuff...600+ rounds of this through it with zero failures. CCI Mini-Mag has run several hundred rounds w/ zero defects also, as has my brick of old Remington Viper super-duper-velocity. |
