Got one in my last order as a freeby. As if the dillo openers, dust, bumper stickers and hat were not enough .. Any one used these? If so any comments or issues?
says it is for carbine length uppers. Been 12,000rnds since I replaced last one in my Colt A2 Carbine and was thinking of installing. |

I don't personally have one (so take this all as IMO) but I'm sure it functions similar to all Carbine extractor springs. Since it's a freebie I'd run it anyways. It might be overkill on a rifle length gas system (your A2) but why not? All of my BCGs either came with (or have been upgraded to) carbine extractor springs/inserts/o-rings regardless of gas system length. The Noveske intermediate SPRish build I'm currently working on will be no different.
